When is the next Google Pagerank update?

For the longest time, there has been no adrenalin rush of a Google smackdown or Google pagerank increase.

So, yeah, many may scoff at the mere mention of pagerank and brushed it off as something noobs look for. Well, I think those are just sour-grapes griping because pagerank does matter. The higher your pagerank, the better you are in the SERPs. A site cannot just depend on a few keywords boosted by softwares to fake the backlinking. A good site has natural backlinks from reliable sites and pwnd in many, many keywords.

If my observation is right, let’s say a keyword like ‘Google pagerank’ and two sites are side by side in the SERP. The site with the higher PR will be ahead of the one lower. I have stalked some ‘peer blogs’ in certain niches and those of us with PR 4/10 definitely are placed higher than those with PR 3/10.

Therefore, whether you care about PR or not, I do. And I am just counting the days to the next PR update. The last time Google updated the pageranks was on April 30 or May 1st (depending on which side the sun shines first). So, shall we bet that we shall be seeing many Chicken Little screaming, “The sky is falling, I lost my PR!!!” by early August 2008. That is just a couple of weeks away.

Woohoo! Exciting. I hope I don’t lost PR again. As for increase PR, I have no more hope. Google seems very stingy with pagerank increase nowadays. Having a PR4/10 is like very high standard already. Only my personal blog has that flicker of hope due to the high traffic and backlinks.

I better start praying to my cyber-Google god now and hope to be blessed with suprised pageranks increase like the last update.

  • Don’t email me unnecessary to check on your blog. I am not your personal blog evaluator.
  • Don’t email me endlessly to ask questions. You think I am so free, ah? Write to me only in life and death situations.
  • Don’t ask me why you cannot post comment. Probably your comments annoy many bloggers so all of them put you in the Akismet bin.
  • Don’t post comments just because you exist. People easily know if you read through a post because stupid, blundering comments pissed bloggers and once that happen, you are in their blacklist forever. Bloggers take time and effort to write a post and there is nothing that looks more stupidier than repeating in the comment on what they have just written.
  • Don’t ever ask me questions on how to make money by writing to me personally. Read my blog, morons. Or bugger off.
  • Don’t ever write to say sorry because I don’t take sorry. It is not worth my time.
  • Don’t assume that I am patience and nice every day.
  • Don’t ask me to link you or do link exchange. I have enough blogs of my own to link myself.
  • Don’t be a blogger if what I said above hurt your feelings. You are not cut out to be a blogger if simple things like that made you run with tails between your legs.
  • Don’t bother me with stupid, mundane things when I have openly blogged that I was dealing with a dying relative. That show how selfish you are because you think the world exist for you.

    • Lastly, if you think this post is for you, too bad. No one is worth my time to dedicate a post for. It is just to pissed everyone off.

    Oh ya, ask your mother don’t give birth to you. The world will be a much happier place. One less moron, more oxygen to breathe. Yay!

    Too many dot org biz net com info

    During one of my zany moments, I bought up all the dots. I have dot com, dot net, dot info, dot biz and dot org. It is one of those crazy ideas that someday, somehow and somewhat, the iconic 5xmom will be world renowned. (yeah…right.……I can hear you readers saying it)

    Now, as I am upgrading my Wordpress, I found that I have two dots lying around, dormant. I do not know what to do with them so I just leave them as it is and renew them yearly. I can continue dreaming my daydreams…..as long as I have money to renew the domains.

    Upgrading Wordpress has been my daily routine these few days. I have 4 different servers and if you add one of my church’s site, I have five servers to login to. Sometimes, I upgraded them so fast, I cannot remember which was the last blog I upgraded.

    You see, after you have uploaded the new Wordpress 2.6 there, you need to log in Admin to click the upgrade button. And if you don’t sometimes, your site is inaccessible and visitors will get an error code.

    Then, you may wonder, why five servers? I have three hostings and on my virtual private server, my webhost has separated the blogs into three different packages, with three different cpanel login. This is to avoid a total crash if something bad happen.

    So, sigh….nothing constructive from me for the time being because after I upgraded the Wordpress, I got to upgrade the plugins. Thank God the plugin is easily upgraded from the admin dashboard or else I will go cuckoo. The other thing I like about WP 2.6 is the ability to delete plugins we no longer use. Such a breeze to delete off those lousy plugins that serve no purposes. I love to try new plugins so I have a lot on my server.

    Do you secure your domain names by buying up all your dots? I only do so for one URL because I still cannot get my chanlilian for dot com. The previous owner refuse to give up because my name is HOT! *evades rotten tomatoes*

    I am too lazy to go back to the previous posts and reply some of the questions. So, let me do it here with some linky love for you.

    fake comment and hate comment.. which is worse? :P (vkeong)

    On impersonal blogs like this make money or my recipe blog, I don’t get hate comments. But on my personal blog, sometimes I do intentionally stir shits to get excitement in the blogosphere. So, I would say, fake comment is boring because I need to delete them and hate comment is fun when it is me who instigate it.

    I’m curious to know what happen to your smorty… u just ignored the warning? I’m planning to change my domain and hosting but afraid that i’ll have to refund the review money. How about PPP and SP? (slowcatchupkuan)

    I never log in anymore. I still ‘owe’ them money but who cares…I have no intention of monetizing those blogs. However, in future, if I have any other new blogs, I can always open a new account. Muahahar..

    For Linkworth, we just have to wait. In fact, we always have to wait for advertisers so it is a bit depressing when no one buys. I have a section for Linkworth with all the tutorials which I hope to help.

    Why can we sell text link ads? Some say text link ads is good to us to get back link.

    Nasrun, Google does not allow us to sell text links which leaks link juice. That means, if my blog has a PR 4, I cannot sell my links or I will get smack. But there are methods which I shall not reveal here. Do look through my old posts and see the various methods. I do not sell any text link ads on my selected blogs but I do sell it on other ‘unseen and unknown’ blogs. You can join Socialspark but I doubt you can find much paid posts because all advertisers want are pages with pagerank.

    The next pagerank update probably is coming soon because the last one was April 30th. But don’t have too much hope of getting a pagerank cos Google is very strict. You need traffic, you need good relevant content and people linking to you.

    I don’t think LinkXL works on blogger blog yet. But Kontera does.

    This blog is running on Wordpress 2.6

    I have been waiting for the release of Wordpress 2.6 eversince my WP 2.5.1 was hacked with Wordpress spam injection.

    Finally, Wordpress 2.6 is released and I will be the first to jump on upgrading all my blogs. Since the internet connection is working ok, I better do it fast.

    Here’s a video on the changes. I do not have time to explore yet but I notice they have sorted the plugins to two sections, i.e. one section are plugins we use and the other, non-active plugins.

    I was hoping they will give us two widgets side by side but nope, I still have to deal with picking either one widget at a time. I find it so annoying because when I remove a text widget, the things inside disappeared. So, I need to remember to copy the text, remove the box, go to sidebar 2, paste over into a new text box. I wonder why?

    Anyway, upgrading from WP 2.5.1 to WP 2.6 is a breeze. Remember to upgrade!

    Lately, there are so many ‘genuine’ comments. They look like these very ‘generous’ and ‘interested’ people are really reading my post and left relevant comments.

    But dudes, don’t push it too hard. Getting like 10 ‘looks real’ comment is too much attention on my poor, humble blog. I don’t need it.

    Please go play far-far. My blog is a no-follow blog and the comments are no-follow too. So, it is useless to comment. Some people have given you guys some old lists. I had been smacked by Google and I am not risking it anymore.

    Make money online Malaysia - Heh, eat this!

    This is another ‘rub it in’ to the sour puss who tried so hard to prove how easy it is for him to get on the first page of Google Search Results in Malaysia. Yeah, so what….just for everyone’s information, make money keyword does not make money. So stop trying already. And did your ball grows bigger when you hit the first page? You better check ‘cos it could be hernia. Go try viagra, it makes more money and useful too.

    If you are from the local blogosphere, I bet you know who I am referring to. Wanna follow my Make Money ‘ho-liao-ness’ ah? Go ahead lah, not that I make any money from this blog. Somemore kopikat the same blog title Make Money Online wor…Show income first lah.

    I blog over here simply because I sincerely think that whatever I learned, if I share with another person, they will benefit too. Not like sour puss who only know how to boast and bluff but never seen a single screenshot of the sourpuss’s PayPal also. Ptui…

    Anyway, another screenshot to rub it in. This blog is one position higher than LiewCF on make money online malaysia keyword. LiewCF was my make money mentor so it is very exhilarating to get one step ahead of my mentor. Yes, I started learning on how to make money from LiewCF when we started in 2003.
